The islanders of Lesvos, Chios, Samos held yesterday, February 28, new big strikes and demonstrations against the Government’s policy on refugees and its plans to build new prison camps.

The attempt of the Greek Government to “invade” the islands with Riot police forces failed after the great militant response by the local communities and the trade unions. Police forces withdrew yesterday from the islands.
