Departmental CGT trade union of the Val-de-Marne gives total support to the strike movement of the workers in the printing company “Vlachos” in Lavrion region, who protest against the layoff of their colleague, president of the regional Trade Union Organisation and contract worker.

This last weeks, mobilizations of workers and their trade union committee to demand equal rights between contract and permanent workers, especially for unhealthy and night work primes and increasing salaries, allowed to gain social measures.

The company’s direction has used this intimidating and unbearable decision to stop workers’
balance of power.

We, once again, can note that the uses of intimidating and repressive methods unionists undergo are the same as in France. These methods are used by respective governments that obey to the same large business groups, to remove all class opposition against the liberal system that increase their profits to the detriment of workers’ rights and wages.
