As we informed you in the past, the struggle of Uyum-Makro workers has concluded with a great victory and the struggling workers got their compensations in last month. After the success of this struggle under the leadership of Nakliyat-İş, the other workers were influenced very positively and decided to struggle to get their compensations.

Yesterday in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara, Nakliyat-İş organized a massive demonstration at Makro Market Head office with the participation of more than one thousand workers. In the protest action, the workers showed their determination to struggle against the anti-worker attitude of Makro Market Management. Ali Rıza Küçükosmanoğlu, President of Nakliyat-İş Union stated that they would never give up until the victory of all 6500 workers who were illegally dismissed without being paid any compensation.
