On Thursday, February 8, a delegation from the General Union of Palestinian Workers (GUPW), member of the WFTU, visited the PAME offices.
The GUPW delegation, headed by the new Secretary-General Mahmoud S.H. Abualwafa and GUPW International Secretary, Samer A. Saabi informed about the developments in the area and the activities of GUPW. PAME expressed its support on the just struggle of the Palestinian people and informed on the multiform activities of trade unions, national federations and Regional Trade Union centers of Greece, especially to free Ahed Tamimi.
GUPW thanked PAME for its solid Solidarity with the Palestinian people and discussed the development of new initiatives and actions within the WFTU.
