The General Strike of December 14 gave a massive, militant response to the government of SYRIZA-ANEL, to the employers and the European Union.
PAME salutes the thousands of strikers who overcame employers’ intimidations and government propaganda, and participated massively in the strike and strike demonstrations of PAME in more than 70 cities all over Greece. It was a message of continuity.
The demonstration in Athens was massive, flooding the streets since early hours of the morning. Expressing the solidarity of the class unions of Greece to the heroic people of Palestine at the front of the demonstration was the banner of WFTU Week of Action in Solidarity with Palestine and the demonstration of thousands of workers reached the American Embassy to protest.

PAME calls on workers and trade unions to constant vigilance and organization of the struggle, to discuss, to take militant decisions in the unions. With our struggle, we will force the government, the bosses and their forces not only to see us in front of them, but to become nightmares in their sleep. No worker, no unemployed should be fooled and believe that the attack will stop, that someone other than us will stop it. We will impose our right and we will overturn the situation. No one else can. We give the battle even more decisively; we strengthen the struggles that are being developed in the sectors and in every workplace.
