PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class trade union movement of Greece, expresses its solidarity with the workers and the union Nakliyat-İş in Turkey who are fighting against the 116 lay offs in the company MEDLOG.

The layoffs in MEDLOG company took place, in an attempt by the employers to create obstacles and attack the trade union organization, the organized struggle of the workers with the union Nakliyat-İş (WFTU Affiliate). The workers, rallying with their union, respond dynamically to the attack of the employer. The last days the union organizes a series of mobilizations in many cities of Turkey, where the company is located.

The persecutions, the layoffs, the attacks against workers who organize and demands are a daily phenomenon in all countries. The employers are afraid of the organized, class struggle of the workers, because this way the workers can understand their true power. Against the employers’ aggressiveness, the working class responds with class solidarity.

PAME denounces the intimidating tactics of the MEDLOG Company, the obstacles it creates to the trade union activity of the workers, and we express our Solidarity and Support to the workers and the union Nakliyat-İş.
