Panhellenic Day of Action

 AT WORKPLACES AND IN NEIGHBOURHOODS, WE RISE AGAINST THE HARDSHIPS BROUGHT TO US BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE EU ON 25 MARCH 

On the occasion of the General Assembly of the EU, which will take place on 25 March, the Executive Secretariat of PAME invites the local and branch secretariats, the Associations and class trade unions, the militant ballots and all the forces of PAME to go to workplaces and to workers΄ homes to hold discussions with workers and the popular strata about the organisaton of the struggle against the new harsh measures that were discussed on 11 March and will be ratified on 25 March 2011.

The political staffs of the multinationals, business companies and monopolies will finalise their conclusions on ensuring that debts will be paid off, guaranteeing their profits and finalizing the measures that they will take against the workers and other popular strata.The discussion that has already taken place on further cuts to salaries and pensions, raising the retirement age, is a blow for those doing heavy and unhealthy jobs, for education and for welfare. All these measures make the life of ordinary families hellish. 

We invite all the organised forces of PAME to go to workplaces and inform the workers, the youth and the popular strata about the decisions of the EU, the reasons why these measures are being taken, and their consequences, by organising discussion meetings and other forms of dissimination, and by explaining the consequences of these measures and the need to be organised and to go on the counter-attack.
