DAY OF GENERAL PAN-HELLENIC STRIKE AGAINST THE NEW ANTIPOPULAR BRUTALITY AND THE BEGINNING OF NEW STRUGGLES

Working women and men,

Young men and women,

ALL TOGETHER in the struggle so that the new barbaric measures will not be applied.

On JUNE 15 nobody must go to work. We must empty the factories, offices, ports, construction places etc. No engine must function. No propeller must turn. In every workplace we take decisions with massive procedures, through general assemblies to condemn the measures, to participate in the strike and to escalate the struggle with a new general pan-Hellenic strike on the first day that the antilabor – antipopular monstrosity will be discussed in the parliament. 

Continuous struggle until the overthrow of the new measures.

            We massively demonstrate with PAME (All Workers Militant Front), PASEVE (Panhellenic Antitrust Coalition of Tradesmen – Craftsmen), PASY (All Farmers Militant Coalition), OGE (Federation of Women in Greece) and MAS (Students’ Militant Front) strengthening our message. The antilabor measures will not be applied!!!

            There is another path. There is a solution in favour of the people. It is the path of conflict with monopolies and European Union for the economy and the power that will serve the needs of the people and not the needs of the monopoly groups.

            No compromise, no concession. We resist the terroristic dilemmas, the governmental and employers’ blackmails.

            No more sacrifices for the profits of plutocracy. No to the antilabor ultimatums and to the continuous unemployment and austerity.

• We will not live with the nightmare of unemployment.
• We will not live without collective agreements, preys to the employers’ hands.
• We will not work 24-hours per day for a piece of bread, whatever hours, days and months the employer wants.
• We will not accept the minds of our children to be filled with reactionary ideas, useless knowledge and information. We shall not tolerate our children to be tortured; we will not let them search for a job, even an underpaid one, for many years.  
• We shall not tolerate to subsidize the employers with billions of euros and at the same time unemployed people and their families not to be able to afford to buy food, to have their electricity – water supplies and telephone cut and the bankers to take their homes for debts.
• It can not go any further with the tax-robbery of the employees, pensioners, the popular strata the same time that the amount of money, industrialists, bankers, ship owners, large-scale craftsmen pay, is reduced, and money is also gathered for them from the state funds through the draining of the popular households.  
• No to the sell out of the public wealth, which is our fathers’ and our own blood and sweat.
•  No acceptance of the debt. The debt is the creation of the capitalists; it is not created by the workers.

Now we know, even more people than before, that as long as the big employers, monopolies and multinational companies have control, as long as the governments are composed of their political representatives, as long as we remain within the European Union which steals the peoples, our own lives will be even more smashed by the press of exploitation, even though we are the ones who produce all the wealth, even though no gear turns without us.

That is why our answer must be:

ü      The organization first of all in the workplaces, the change of the correlations in favour of the class-oriented trade union movement, of PAME, so that the conflict with the employers and the bourgeois state will grow and will be effective.

ü      The common front and the united action of workers with the other popular strata against the government and multinational companies. The weakening of the parties of capital and of all the parties which agree with the policies of the European Union.
