Call to the youth, the young working men and women
Young working men and women,
Do not surrender! Your youthful momentum must not become the oil in the gears of the exploitation for the profits of capital and monopolies. The indignation must become organization, power, clash with the employers and their mechanisms, with the European Union, the political staff of the plutocracy and their trade union lackeys.
They are leveling the salaries to 400 euros for all the young workers. Young workers who work part-time and in job rotation, will literally work for starvation wages, they will work for 200 euros. The decline of the wages of young workers will sweep down the wages and the apprenticeship contracts as a total.
The attack is overall across Europe. They crush and pauperize the new generation, with sole criterion the age. They want the new generation flexible, cheap and subjugated. They utilize the unemployment, the low degree of organization, inexperience, the subjugated trade unions in Europe, in each country.
PAME calls the trade unions, at every work place to build a wall of resistance, so that the massacre of the labour rights will not be pass, the games with the young workers’ lives will stop.
They ensure slaves to the monopolies
with the new generation being the first victim.
The measures are not temporary! If we do not raise our heads, even worse measures will come. They want the youth begging for work, standing in the queues of OAED (Employment Organization) for hours searching for pseudo-programs of employment in order to be relieved even for a while, being ready to work without contracts, with starvation wages. They want the young people having all the time the stress of having a job, day-wage and unemployment.
We can stop them! The memories from the “First Employment Contract” promoted by the government de Villepin in France for the youth employment in 2006 and was forced to withdraw under the pressure of the large popular mobilizations, are still fresh.
We call the students to strengthen the struggle within their schools. Production is waiting them with even worse conditions. We especially call the working students, the students of the professional schools who already have “tasted” the future that, they, prepare for us, to go ahead, with PAME. We call them to join their trade unions, so as to strengthen the class response against the war, they have declared to us.
No retreat. The future belongs to us. They are not invincible!
The young working men and women in every sector must join the ranks of the trade unions. They must isolate the governmental and employers’ trade unionism which gives its subjugation credentials to their bosses. The slogan “law is the right of the worker” will not be vindicated neither in the international courts and institutions, nor in the Parliament. The right will be judged on the streets, in the factories and the work places, in the schools with PAME van guard.
Today their plan is clearly revealed. PAME, the class-oriented forces had warned many years ago that the formation of a cheap, flexible and subjugated labour force is designed to support the capital profitability at European level and in each country. The restructurings in education, the part-time employment, the workers who are hired through the “slave-market” agencies, the “black” uninsured work, apprenticeship, the part-time contracts were the “fertilizer” so that the juvenile wage slavery will grow. They want a numerous part of the working class being cheap, flexible, without rights.
When they say “the crisis to become an opportunity” they mean the life of the worker to go back to the standards of the 50’s. When they say support of competitiveness, they mean the “right” of the multinationals to crush the vital needs of the workers.
This is the capitalist way of development. This means development for the monopolies and destruction of the lives of the people. We can overthrow them. With a strong class-oriented movement that will question their one-way-path, the capitalist way of development which want us half-employed, half-unemployed, exhausted. Life never went forward for the working class without hard struggles against employers, the state and the civil laws that protect the interests of the capitalists.
The measures voted by the parties of the plutocracy condemn us to poverty. No wage reduction. No worker to bend his/her head to terrorism, blackmails and threats.
We must make them regret it! We must not become the generations that will work for a piece of bread, without collective contracts, without social security and pension.
The measures and the policy which gives birth to these measures must be rejected. The clash with the capitalist way of development is one-way-path for the people’s counterattack, so as not to live like slaves of the 21st century, but as owners of the wealth we produce.
