PAME denounces the brutal bloody repression launched by the government of Peru against the struggle of Peruvian Metalworkers on Sunday, April 4, causing the death of many workers and the wound of tens of workers by the police fires.

The brutal repression and massacre of workers who struggle for their rights, reveals once again the true face of the government of Alan Garcia. The international organizations and governments who remain silent facing this crime are also guilty.

PAME expresses its full solidarity with the families and colleagues of the murdered workers, the Metalworkers and the working class of Peru who struggle for the rights to work and life.
