We express our Labour Solidarity to the struggle of the thousands of workers in ALITALIA, representing Greek Workers and Militant Trade Union Movement. Italian Government serves big private capital by applying the antilabour decision of breaking up the huge colossus airlines, of dismissals for over 2000 workers and of splitting up the company.

This antilabour decision is almost at the same sense with the Greek Government’ s decision of breaking up the national airlines, OLYMPIC AIRLINES, because this was capitals demand.

This common effort of Greek and Italian Governments goes along with the European Union directions and the antipopular plans of the European Committee itself.

We, as workers, have common efforts and struggles. We demand to stop the breaking up of ALITALIA. We support your fair demands. We believe that coordination of militant forces all over Europe is necessary nowadays, in order to defend our right to work and to protect our conquests from Governments attacks and from the European Union itself.
