The right to steady jobs with full rights is not negotiable.

The aggressiveness of the employers in one of the biggest companies in the food sector, EVGA SA,  escalates. This happens, because the owners seek to ensure its profitability, which according to them, requires the intensification of work, transfers/outsourcing and layoffs. The 9 layoffs done the day before yesterday, the 12-hour schedules and the latest labour accident show that if we do not stop them, the Group will stick to the path it has set.

The target of the Group is clear. Flexibility at work, with salaries of 500 €, acceptance of the brutal measures with our heads bowed. To the war unleashed by the employers and its political staff, the bourgeois parties, we fight back. The right to steady jobs with full rights is not negotiable. Our needs cannot be cut any further.

We call on the workers at EVGA to join their union, not to fear, to lift their heads up and to give a dynamic response to the employers´ plans. We call on the workers of the sector, the unions of other industries and workplaces, in solidarity. These measures and dismissals have a single goal and concern us all.
