The class unions and the people of Thessaloniki held a big demonstration against the visit of USA’s secretary of state Mike Pompeo in their city on Monday, September 28.

The demonstration denounced the imperialist plans for the region and demanded that their city is a port of the peoples and not of intra-imperialist rivalries and competitions. Against the demonstration the Government mobilized massive forces of police that turned the city into a military zone. The militant determination of the protesters was not stopped and they completed their rally.
