For Dismissals in Coca Cola multinational

Δημοσιεύτηκε στις

PAME denounces the multinational Coca Cola which makes dismissals of workers in Patras, Athens and in other cities.

The monopoly having the support of the government of PASOK (socialdemocrats), N.D. (conservative party), E.U. aims for its greater profitability, abolishing the right to work with rights from workers. It wants to utilize all the laws that PASOK and N.D. have voted in order to have cheap and flexible workers. The statements of the president of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises also confirm that. They want us to work having low wages, without having Collective Agreements, specific working hours and social security rights. All these are happening during the same time that Coca Cola itself has announced a profit of 417milion euros for the first nine months of 2010.

PAME and its forces will contribute in every way to organize the struggles of workers. In order the workers not to become victims of the so-called “voluntary exit programs” and the solidarity of the working class to be expressed. Monopolies are our common enemy and we must raise a front against it. In order no worker to be dismissed and to pave the way, the perspective in which the working class and its allies, the self-employed people, the poor farmers to remove the power from the monopolies and become the masters of the wealth that they produce, which is huge and today is grabbed by the few, the capitalists.
