To the trade unions in Chile

Dear colleagues,

The class-oriented trade union movement in Greece, PAME, expresses its deep concern and indignation about the enormous problems of education in all countries.

The hunger strike of students in Chile is the result of policies that consider education as a commodity and as a mean to promote the dominant policy in every country.

We have responsibility and duty to struggle even more, all the class-oriented trade unions, to take initiatives for the shake of our children, of the education and the young generation.

The problems in education concern the working class as a whole.

We must immediately inform our trade unions, the student organizations about the struggle of students in Chile.
