On Friday, August 30 a delegation of WFTU, PAME and the Commerce Workers Union of Athens submitted a complaint at the Embassy of France in Athens denouncing the persecution against the General Secretary of the French Federation of Commerce (Fédération CGT Commerce et Services), colleague Amar Laga. The delegation denounced the escalating persecution of trade union action in France and across the EU.

Once again, the Embassy of France with a provocative way refused to meet with the representatives of the workers and “welcomed” the unionists with police forces.

Against the authoritarianism and repression, the workers, we have the weapon of the organized collective action and class solidarity.
