PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its support to the 13 persecuted fighters in Paraguay, among who are one underage girl and the WFTU and MOAPA cadre, comrade Rubén Villalba. The comrades from Paraguay have been imprisoned since 2012 for their action against the big landlords who exploit brutally the farmers of Paraguay. The comrades were arrested and are going on trial after a violent attack of the police, under the instructions of the landlords, against the fighting farmers, which lead to the death of 11 farmers and 7 policemen.

The anti peoples’ policies go hand-in-hand with oppression, repression of trade union rights and freedoms, trade union persecutions. Something that the workers of Greece and Europe in general are living daily.

PAME calls for the immediate release of all the persecuted fighters. It expresses its support to comrade Rubén Villalba and will take up initiatives against their wrongful persecution.
