PAME, All Workers Militant Front-Greece, a member of the WFTU, expresses its solidarity with the struggle of the Chilean people.

We condemn the authoritarianism and repression of the Piñera government against the just demands of the workers.

Workers, farmers, youth, the Chilean people are struggling against the rising cost of living, after the hike in Metro ticket prices. The mobilizations express the general popular indignation and anger against anti-workers policies that aim at “Growth” and profitability of the business groups. Policies that condemn peoples to poverty and misery by privatizing basic services and expanding the costs for workers´ families.

The class unions of Greece, PAME, express their support and solidarity with the big popular mobilizations in Chile and support their rightful demands.
