PAME, representing the class trade union movement of Greece, stands by the side of the struggle of the workers at the new airport in Istanbul, Turkey.

Construction Workers of the new airport, whose construction has been watered by workers’ blood, with many dead and wounded, protested after a new accident that resulted to the injury of 17 workers. In the justified protest of the workers, the Turkish government responded with violence, repression and arrests.

PAME, which is firmly on the side of Istanbul airport workers, condemns the unacceptable working conditions and repression against workers’ mobilizations.
