PAME held a protest at the Consulate of Ecuador in Athens demanding the immediate release of the trade unionist Edgar Sarango.

PAME condemned the arrest of the trade union leader as part of the antiworkers attack of the neoliberal government of Rafael Correa and aims to intimidate the workers, to stop the action and the struggles of the class trade unions.

The class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity with CTE and comrade Sarango.

We demand his immediate release and all charges to be dropped.
