Rivers of People Flood cities of Greece in Honor of the Polytechnic Uprising

With massive demonstrations in all cities of Greece on November 17 the people honored the Polytechnic Uprising of 1973 against the Military Dictatorship, demanding that Greeks STOPs its participation and support to the imperialist wars, to stop cooperation with the Murderer State of Israel, expressing people’s solidarity with Palestine.
In Athens a huge demonstration took place marching to the Embassies of USA and Israel with Palestinian flags in the front line and also Soldiers of the Greek Army demonstrating alongside the people against NATO plans and wars.

Special was the participation of young workers who serve as conscript soldiers in the Greek Army, who laid wreaths at the Polytechnic and demonstrated together with the people under a banner saying

PAME and the class unions paid tribute to the Polytechnic Uprising with laying of wreaths on Saturday, November 16, at the historic broken gates of the Polytechnic School.

Massive demonstrations took place also in all major Greek cities, like Thessaloniki, Patras, Giannena, Crete and others, escalating the preparations for the National General Strike of November 20.
