POEEP Federation Hosted the 2nd Balkan Trade Union Forum in Thessaloniki

The National Federation POEEP, member of PAME, hosted the 2nd Meeting of the Trade Unions of the Balkan area in Thessaloniki on Saturday, February 16.

In the meeting took part Trade Unions from Turkey, Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Romania and the WFTU.

The meeting discussed the situation of the workers in the Balkans and of its trade union movement. The Forum decided the strengthening of cooperation among the Balkan Unions, the annual meetings of the Forum as well as the development of common initiatives.
