PAME that represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity with the USB and the workers of GLS in Piacenza, Italy and condemns the persecution of trade union rights and action.

On January 29 the logistics company GLS announced more than 30 layoffs of workers who had mobilized for their rights the previous period. This is a continuation of the attack against the activity of the workers and the USB against the tragic working conditions in the company.

PAME stands by the side of the workers of GLS and the USB in their militant actions against the antiworkers’ attack.

We demand the cancelation of layoffs and the recognition of workers’ rights and trade union freedoms.
