PAME published a Call for raising Material Solidarity for the People of Lebanon

 In its statement PAME noted:

We are all watching in shock the huge disaster in our neighboring Beirut. Once again, the Lebanese people are paying a heavy price, while they live within the vortex of imperialist rivalries. More than 300,000 have been left homeless and thousands injured after the deadly blasts on Tuesday, August 4th.

PAME calls on the working class of Greece to put into practice the slogan “all for one and one for all”. The people of Lebanon should not be left alone. We need to express our solidarity, which is our greatest weapon.We are taking the initiative to immediately mobilize material solidarity to be sent to the workers and the people of Lebanon.

The Regional Trade Union Centers, the Federations, the Trade Unions to inform the workers of each sector, to form mechanisms for collecting the materials in each workplace
