PAME, which represents the class trade union movement of Greece, member of the wFTU, expresses its support and solidarity with the Brisbane ferry workers who have decided to go on a 24-hours strike on Thursday.

The ferry workers, who went on strike again two weeks ago, are continuing their mobilization and strikes in protest against erode of the maintenance and safety standards as well as for their defending the right for dignified wages and dignified working conditions.

The class oriented trade union movement stands on the side of the workers, who are struggling for their rights as well as the quality and safety on transportation and others public services to the ordinary people.

PAME demands the satisfaction of the strikers’ fair demands and expresses its solidarity with their just struggle
