PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity with the workers of Air France and their struggles.
Dear colleagues, the layoffs, the wage cuts, outsourcing and other anti workers measures benefit the employers and leave the workers in poverty, without rights, without work. Even in crucial sectors like transport, where human lives are at stake, the multinationals only care about profits. The argument that we should accept sacrifices for the profitability of the employers will lead the workers to unemployment and poverty.
In Greece we also face the attack of the capitalists who imposed the 3rd Memorandum and want us to surrender our rights. In all militant responses of the class trade unions the Governments, the state, the police and the Justice system show themselves as representatives of the multinationals and persecute the workers and the trade unions, who fight. However, they cannot intimidate us. We continue with the preparation of 2day strike in Sea Transports on November 2-3. And we prepare General National Strike in Greece on November 12.
In these conditions the struggle of the Air France workers against the lay offs is a just struggle and has the full support and solidarity of PAME and the class trade unions of Greece.
