PAME condemns the new attempted invasion against Venezuela by a Colombian paramilitary group, which was confronted by Venezuelan security forces.

This development once again brought to light the joint plan of the USA, EU and Latin American reactionary governments to overthrow the democratically elected government of Venezuela, subjugate the people and seize the country’s wealth.

The right of every people to decide on its present and future is non-negotiable. PAME, a member of WFTU, expresses its solidarity with the unions, the workers and the people of Venezuela in their struggle for their lives and their future.
