PAME expresses the condolences and solidarity of the Greek class unions to the workers and people of Albania suffering from the catastrophic earthquake of November 26th.

Dear Colleagues, Workers in Greece, as in all countries, are bitterly aware of the consequences of “natural disasters” that always have as main victims the poor people. Today there is all the potential of science and technology to take action to protect the people against natural disasters, but governments are choosing to spend huge funding to armaments and to fund big multinationals.
