Unions and organizations from Athens demonstrated on Saturday afternoon at Motor Oil Refinery, at the port of Agioi Theodoroi, near Athens denouncing the fact that the company is supplying fuel to tankers that support the murderous actions of NATO and Israel.

 Thousands sent a clear message of condemnation of Greece’s participation in the war fronts that are dangerously escalating and against the system that feeds on war and the bloodshed of peoples, while its “peace” also destroys, degrades and sacrifices human life on the altar of profit.

With main slogan “They want Greece to be a war base, no participation in NATO’s slaughterhouse”, the demonstrators demanded to stop here and now the country’s involvement in imperialist plans and wars, to stop using the port of Agioi Theodoroi for the supply of NATO and Israeli forces.

“History has a right side, with Palestine till freedom”, the unions declared, expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine who have been massacred for months, while denouncing Israel’s murderous attack on the Lebanese people which has been escalating in the last days.
