Greek and Migrant Workers’ Protest

Τhe class unions of Workers in Food Industries of Athens and the Regional Union of East Attica held a militant protest of Greek and Migrant workers to denounce the murderous attack of an employer against migrant workers who demanded their payment.

The employer shot 3 Indian workers with a shotgun, when they demanded to get paid their owed salaries. 2 of the workers were hit and needed hospitalization.

The class unions immediately responded and held a massive and militant protest declaring the solidarity between Greek and migrant workers and the need for all workers to join the unions so as to respond to the brutal exploitation of the employers. Main demand of the unions also was for all migrant workers to receive Green Cards.
