Condemnation of the attack against the Global Sumud Flotilla

Δημοσιεύτηκε στις

PAME condemns the attack of the armed forces of the murderous state of Israel against the Global Sumud Flotilla, including the Greek ship “Oxygen”, which was carrying humanitarian aid to the martyred people of Gaza.

This new criminal act of Israel is a continuation of the genocide against the Palestinian people. It escalates the massacre in Gaza and intensifies its aggression also in the West Bank, spreading death and destruction every day. It is emboldened by the plans and the support of the USA, the EU, and the governments that back its crimes for the interests of the monopolies in the region, undermining every possibility for a viable and independent Palestinian state.

The responsibilities of the New Democracy government are also enormous. Despite the appeals, it did nothing to protect the Greek crew, insisting on the strategic alliance with the butcher state of Israel. It persistently refuses to implement the unanimous decision of the Greek parliament in 2015 and to proceed with the recognition of the State of Palestine.

We demand the immediate release of the crews and the safe arrival of the flotilla to Gaza so that the humanitarian aid can be delivered. The genocide of the Palestinian people must stop here and now. All military, political, and economic cooperation with the murderous state of Israel must be cut off.

We call on all trade unions, every worker, to strengthen solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Everyone, on October 10th, to the demonstration at the embassy of the murderous state of Israel
