Big Demonstrations in Solidarity with Refugees

Δημοσιεύτηκε στις

Big Demonstrations in Solidarity with Refugees were held in many islands in Greece on January 22, against the policies of the EU and the Greek governments that have trapped the refugees and migrants in the islands in horrible conditions. This situation is worsening with the imperialist wars, and interventions in the region.

The class unions demand:

Close the “hot spots-concentration camps” in the islands and not create any new ones.

On the islands to have only small registration, identification and primary health care areas where the refugees to stay for a short time and immediately transferred to decent structures in mainland Greece and from there, after applying for asylum, to be free to go to any country they wish.

Abolish the European Union – Turkey – Greece Agreement and any other that holds the refugees trapped and has made the islands prisons of the people.

NGOs to leave and only the state to be responsible for the issue

Residents to be fully compensated for their losses over the years
