PAME, All Workers Militant Front, which represents the class trade union movement in Greece, expresses its solidarity with the struggles of the workers of the multinational company TATA STEEL.

On the occasion of the pandemic, large multinationals seek to secure profits or reduce their losses by burdening workers with the effects of the crisis. Either by layoffs, or by pay cuts, or by hitting Collective Bargaining Agreements and fixed-term employment.

The workers paid a lot for the profits and development of the multinationals. We will not pay again. The only way to defend our jobs and rights is to fight for workers’ rights and lives.

We express our solidarity with the workers, the unions and the mobilizations organized in the Netherlands and England against the dismissals and the anti-labor attack of TATA STEEL
