Dear Comrade,
We, the All India Road Transport Workers’ Federation(CITU), India extends solidarity to the strike of LARCO workers to be held on 21st May. We wholeheartedly support the demands of the workers and denounce the decision of the Government of Greece.
In the era of Globalisation, many countries are trying to utilize COVID19 pandemic to implement their anti-people, anti-worker, anti-national agenda. In India too, the Government has openly announced that except 4 or 5 all other Public Sector Undertakings will be privatized. Even in those 4 or 5 left by the Government Foreign Direct Investment up to 74% including Defence Sector will be allowed. Working hours are increased from 8 to 12 hours a day in some states. Labour Laws are being amended duly withdrawing the little favourable clauses to the working class and paving the way to loot by the Corporate Houses.
This is the high time to extend solidarity to the working class who are heroically fighting against the retrograde policies of the governments worldwide.
We once again extend our solidarity and support to the strike of LARCO workers in Greece.
Workers of the World Unite.
With Revolutionary Greetings
