PAME expresses its solidarity and support to the National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union [NEHAWU] of South Africa, who are going on Strike in the Sector of Water and Sanitation on 8th of March.
The NEHAWU, among others, demands signing of new conditions of employment for construction workers of the sector, payment of money owed since 2017, stop outsourcing, health and safety measures in the workplaces and more.
PAME stands by the side of NEHAWU in its struggle for the rights of the workers in the sector and wishes best of success to their strike and militant actions.
