PAME in Solidarity with the Glass Workers’ Strike in Turkey

Δημοσιεύτηκε στις

All Workers Militant Front, PAME, which represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity with the glass workers of Şişecam and strongly condemns the ban of the glass workers’ strike under the pretext of ‘threat to national security’.

The government of Turkey proves once more its anti-worker character, the postponement for 60 days of the strike, which is to demand Collective Contract, practically means that the Turkish Government supports the employer of Şişecam, Turkey’s biggest glassware company.

We express our solidarity to the workers of Şişecam and their trade union, Kristal-İş. The workers with their militant stance have the power to overthrow any obstacles put by the governments or the employers.
