Athens Hotel Workers On Strike

On Wednesday, October 12, the Hotel Workers of Athens are on Strike demanding the reestablishment of their rights, salaries and benefits, which were cut by the Greek Governments so as to support the profits of the Hotel owners.

The Hotel-Tourism-Catering Workers Union of Athens, member of PAME, which is organizing the strike, has occupied the Ministry of Tourism, since the early hours in the morning and calls all hotel workers to rally in a big protest at Ministry for the satisfaction of their demands.
