PAME that represents the class trade union movement of Greece condemns the arrest of the trade union leader of the Confederación de Trabajadores de Ecuador (CTE) and of the WFTU, comrade Edgar Luis Sarango.

The arrest of the trade union leader is part of the antiworkers attack of the neoliberal government of Rafael Correa and aims to intimidate the workers, to stop the action and the struggles of the class trade unions.

The class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity with CTE and comrade Sarango.

We demand his immediate release and all charges to be dropped.
