PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity to the fight of the workers of Telefónica MoviStar in Spain.

The workers of the telecom multinational are under great attack and persecutions for their struggle, where they demanded better working conditions and collective contracts, denouncing outsourcing, today’s slave trade.

The persecutions against the militant workers of Telefónica MoviStar, the lay offs and courts are one more proof of the brutality of the multinationals and the barbaric working conditions that the European Union has imposed all over Europe. Great responsibility for today’s conditions bear the forces of the employers’ trade unionism, CCOO-UGT, whose stand was in favour of the multinational.

PAME, the class trade union movement of Greece, denounces the lay offs and the persecutions of the militant workers. We demand the satisfaction of the just demands of the workers of Telefónica MoviStar and stop the revenge tactics of the employers against the workers’ struggles.
