PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity to the CNTP and the Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Industria Manufactura de Productos de Harina, Confites y Anexos de Panamá, on their just struggle to protect working mothers.

 The Trade Unions condemn the multinational PASCUAL SA, subsidiary of the Colombian Casa Luker, for its terrorising practices against pregnant workers. The company creates psychological pressure against the pregnant workers putting at risk their health, as well as the life of the embryos. At the same time it uses “interrogation” to learn which workers are pregnant.

 This unacceptable situation reveals the appalling face of capitalism, where the profits of the companies result in the workers treated without dignity and the right to motherhood is turned into a “crime”.

 Against such practices the class trade union movement responds by strengthening Solidarity and support among workers. By revealing and denouncing the practices of these companies. By defending the right to motherhood for ever woman worker.
