PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class oriented trade union movement of Greece, condemns the continuous repression against the workers-peoples’ movement in Mexico.

The last days we witnessed a new demonstration of the antipeoples state apparatus of Mexico, as there were arrested 200 strikers-workers because they rallied demanding better wages and working conditions.

The people of Mexico suffer under the brutal policy that serves the monopolies. One side has immense wealth, while the people live in poverty. Whichever struggle is organised by the workers-peoples’ movement of the country meets the oppression, the violence, the attacks of the official state apparatus or even the para-state, which is the other side of terrorisation against the people’s fighters.

PAME denounces such terrorizing tactics. We express our support to the arrested strikers, as well as to the workers-people’s movement of Mexico, to its trade union organisations, to the organisations of the WFTU that struggle to overthrow this brutal situation.
