PAME that rallies the class oriented trade union movement of Greece, congratulates you on the successful Day of Indignation, on November 13, and we also want to transfer you our support and solidarity to your National March of 21-25 of November
Today, the capitalists, the Media and the Governments are trying to convince us that there is only one way. The path of the capitalist development and of the EU, which is built over the backs of the workers, who live in poverty and unemployment. The path that serves the profits of the multinational corporations by decreasing the price of the labour force.
However, there is also the path of class struggle. Of the massive, militant action of the trade unions who fight against the Capital, the EU, against the compromising with people’s poverty. This path you have also taken and you will walk it proudly the next days aiming a society, where the workers will be the owners of the wealth they produce. In this long march, which will cover all Portugal, you must know that in every step forward you take, the class oriented movement t of Greece, will be by your side.
At the same period, on November 27, the working class of Greece is organizing a National General Strike. This strike follows the enormous national rally of PAME on November 1st, in which participated more than 1000 trade union and popular organisations, and more than 100.000 demonstrators.
CGTP-In supported in many ways PAME and the struggles of the Greek working Class and we are grateful. In conditions of significant struggle within the trade union movement, against trade unions and organisations that support “class collaboration” your contribution with your struggles and your positions is very important. At the same time are common activities, in sectorial level, the initiatives and solidarity messages of Federations like FESAHT and FEVICCOM strengthen our friendship and internationalist solidarity.
