The Executive Secretariat of PAME welcomes the hundreds of thousands of working men and women, the youth, the unemployed people who went on strike and massively participated in the demonstrations of PAME all over Greece. They participated in the demonstrations overcoming the employers’ terrorism, threats and blackmails. They overcame the terrorist dilemmas that we will bankrupt. They overcame the calls of the governmental and employers’ trade unionism not to strike and all the lies and slanders against PAME.

A huge mass response to the anti-labour policy was given. The working class and the popular strata reject the measures and the disgraceful propaganda that come along with them. We welcome all the people who participated in the demonstrations of PAME. The working class together with the other popular strata, youth and women condemned and voted against the barbaric anti-labour measures. The government must take them back. These measures are illegal in the people’s consciousness.

The demonstrations of PAME were well organized and safeguarded, so PAME repelled the provocation plans. PAME denounces the attempts to undermine and provoke the struggles of the working class by the hidden and visible mechanisms whose victims are the three dead workers in the branch of MARFIN bank at the centre of Athens.

PAME calls upon the workers to safeguard their struggle from any provocation and give a militant response with their mass participation in the new strike.
