Delivery workers of WOLT multinational company held a series of strikes the last days against the company’s attack on their income.

With the support and solidarity of the militant unions the riders of WOLT organized massive actions and forced the company to meet with a delegation from the Union of Hotel-Tourism-Catering Workers of Athens. However, the company did not accept the workers’ demands. The Union called for General Assembly of all WOLT workers on Thursday, March 6 to decide the next steps of the struggle.

Similar actions took place in many more cities all over Greece, with big participation that forced WOLT App to stop or change its function. Important was also the solidarity of people who deleted the app.

During the protests the Union expressed its solidarity to WOLT riders’ actions in Georgia and Germany and also received a video message of solidarity from WOLT riders in Georgia and Cyprus.
