Having been informed by the comrades from Pame about the strike of Athens hotel workers, we conveyed the information to our brother union TOLEYİS (Turkey’s Hotel Restaurant and Entertainment Workers Trade Union), affiliated to TURK-IS Confederation. In order to show their solidarity with the hotel workers in Athens, the İzmir Branch of the union organized an action at Grand Plaza, in front of Yasemin Cafe.

In their solidarity action, they stated that such attacks as that of Greek Government can be witnessed in every corners of the world today. They underlined the importance of international solidarity of working class.
