Solidarity to Cuba from the Trade Unions of Greece-Submissions to UN’s Universal Periodic Review

PAME and trade unions of Greece, National Federations and Regional Workers’ Centres have made submissions to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the UN Human Rights Council on Cuba, expressing the relations of friendship, cooperation and solidarity with the trade unions, the people and the CTC of Cuba.

PAME and the trade unions of Greece in their submissions noted the achievements of Cuba in defence and promotion of human rights, but also the successes of the Cuban people in healthcare and education, in the protection of workers and women, and denounced the consequences of the murderous blockade of the USA and their allies that has lasted since 1961.

PAME, the militant trade unions of Greece firmly on the side of the Cuban people will continue and strengthen the initiatives of solidarity with the Cuban people and its trade unions.
