On Thursday, August 14, mobilization at the Port of Piraeus against the docking of the cruise ship carrying Israeli soldiers. It is unwelcome! Send it back!

Greece shall not become a place of rest for war criminals!

STOP the involvement in and support for the genocide of the Palestinian people.

The cruise ship is arriving from the murderous state of Israel, carrying, among alleged tourists, Israeli soldiers, including the thug who attacked a worker and caused damage in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. It will be attempting to dock on Thursday, August 14th, at the historic port of Piraeus, the port where dockworkers blocked ships transporting military equipment to the murderous state.

Workers and all labour unions must express our solidarity with the Palestinian people through militant action. The number of deaths has exceeded 60,000, mostly children. The number of children and civilians dying from starvation continues to rise.

The latest developments, including Netanyahu’s statements about the complete occupation of Gaza, expose the fallacy of Israel’s so-called “right to self-defense”, a narrative that the Greek government and other NATO and EU – aligned parties rushed to support.

The Greek government bears heavy responsibility for supporting the murderous state. Together with the Israeli embassy, through the arrival of this cruise ship, they are attempting to whitewash the crimes of the Israeli state and to suppress any form of solidarity with the Palestinian by labeling it as “antisemitism.”

This cruise ship from the murderous state of Israel must face the same fate as the ships that were carrying military equipment and were never allowed to dock at the port!

Solidarity actions are being organized across the country by labour unions, organizations, and the people, aiming to express support in every possible way for the Palestinians fighting against occupation and the imperialist plans in their region. The Greek people and others throughout Europe and the world demand an end to the crimes being committed.

We demand:

No economic, political, or military cooperation with or support for the murderous state of Israel

Freedom for Palestine

An immediate end to the unacceptable campaign aimed at the occupation of the Gaza Strip

Recognition of the Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with UN resolutions
