Hundreds of elected representatives of University Students of Greece, we express our solidarity with the hundreds of Columbia students demonstrating against the massacre of the Palestinian people by the State of Israel!

We denounce the unacceptable repression against the students of Columbia University and the more than 100 arrests the police have made, the suspension of “student status”

The anti-imperialist message that the peoples from all over the world are sending with their struggle scares the authorities, that is why on Monday 22/04 all the in person classes of the Columbia university were cancelled in order to stop the demonstrations. Indeed, the same tactics are being followed at Yale University with dozens of arrests and at Harvard where the center of the campus was “sealed” following the unacceptable persecution of students who expressed their opposition to the policy of involvement of their country and the university in the massacre of Palestinians by the murderous state of Israel.

This despicable action violates basic democratic rights of the students and reveals how much freedom there is for students in the business-university that determines its attitude by its business dealings and connections even with murderer-states!

Right is fighting for peace and justice. Not to cover up for a murderer -state and US-NATO policy – to support the brutal genocide and displacement of a people who already count 40,000 dead including 20,000 dead children!

The students in our country are also on the right side of history! We cry out for freedom for Palestine! We demand no involvement of our country in the wars and massacre!

Students around the world, one fist against the imperialist plans – the genocide of the Palestinian people!
