As per the resolution of the Secretariat Meeting of the WFTU which took place on January 13th, 2015 we hereby announce the opening of the Poster Competition to honor the 70th Anniversary of the World Federation of Trade Unions.
We hereby invite all trade unions-members of the WFTU, all trade unions-friends and associated with the WFTU as well as trade unionists, amateur and professional graphic-designers to prepare posters dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the WFTU.
All posters must be send to the email: [email protected], [email protected] ,latest by 30 April 2015.
Poster Characteristics:
The slogan which will be included in the Poster in any chosen language will be: “1945-2015: 70 years: Militant and Internationalist”
WFTU logotype should be included in the poster. The WFTU Logo in larger analyses could be requested from the WFTU Central Offices in the email [email protected]
Dimensions 50×70 cm, CMYK, File format .pdf (300dpi)
The Secretariat to evaluate the posters and to the winning one. The winning poster will be the one that best captures and projects the militant, internationalist and class-oriented perspective of the WFTU, the working class aesthetic and the importance of the WFTU struggles in the history and for the future.
The winning poster will be translated in many languages and will be used as the Central Poster of the WFTU for the Central Activity on October 3rd in Sao, Paolo Brazil as well as other main activities in all continents including the name of the designer and the country of origin.
Also the winner of the competition will be provided with the possibility of one (1) week visit to Athens, Greece and the WFTU Central Offices including air transport, accommodation, meals and local transport.
All participants will receive souvenirs including WFTU T-shirts, cups, pins etc. as well as a series of WFTU publications.
All posters that reflect the values of the WFTU will be projected in the WFTU website and will be exhibited in various occasions.

Στις 3 Οκτώβρη 2015 η Παγκόσμια Συνδικαλιστική Ομοσπονδίας συμπληρώνει 70 χρόνια Αγωνιστικής Διεθνιστικής Προλεταριακής Δράσης. Το 2015 να γίνει έτος ισχυροποίησης της ΠΣΟ, περισσότεροι εργαζόμενοι και συνδικαλιστικές δυνάμεις να έρθουν σε επαφή μαζί της, με τους αγώνες της, με το διεθνές, ταξικό εργατικό κίνημα.
Στα πλαίσια των εκδηλώσεων που θα γίνουν για τα 70χρονα της, η ΠΣΟ καλεί συνδικαλιστές, εργαζόμενους, φίλους του ταξικού κινήματος, επαγγελματίες ή ερασιτέχνες γραφίστες να δημιουργήσουν αφίσα αφιερωμένη στα 70 χρόνια της ΠΣΟ. Το κύριο σύνθημα θα είναι
«1945-2015: 70 χρόνια. ΑγώνακαιΔιεθνισμού» (1945-2015: 70 Years. MilitantandInternationalist) με το λογότυπο της ΠΣΟ.
Οι συμμετοχές θα αξιολογηθούν από την Γραμματεία της ΠΣΟ, με βασικό κριτήριο πως αποτυπώνεται καλύτερα και αναδεικνύεται η αγωνιστικότητα, ο διεθνισμός και ο ταξικός προσανατολισμός της ΠΣΟ, η αισθητική της εργατικής τάξης και η σημασία των αγώνων της ΠΣΟ ιστορικά και για το μέλλον.
Η νικήτρια αφίσα θα μεταφραστεί σε πολλές γλώσσες και θα χρησιμοποιηθεί σαν η κεντρική αφίσα των εκδηλώσεων της ΠΣΟ σε όλες τις ηπείρους, συμπεριλαμβάνοντας το όνομα του δημιουργού και την χώρα προέλευσης. Όλοι οι συμμετέχοντες θα λάβουν αναμνηστικά της ΠΣΟ καθώς και σειρά εκδόσεων.
Όλες οι αφίσες που αντανακλούν τις αξίες της ΠΣΟ θα αναρτηθούν στην ηλεκτρονική σελίδα της ΠΣΟ και θα προβάλλονται σε διάφορες περιπτώσεις.

PAME expresa su repudio por los despidos de los trabajadores del Metro de Sao Paulo, debido a la huelga celebrada en junio de 2014.
Estamos especialmente indignados que el juez Thiago Melosi Soria emitió una orden judicial de reincorporación, exactamente por qué la Cia, del Metropolitano de Säo Paulo no rpesentó ninguna evidencia sólida para justificar el despido.
Ahora, sobre la base de una decisión improvisada de un juez de segunda instancia, sin ninguna base legal, la empresa utiliza un mandato de seguridad, para nuevamente despedir a los trabajadores. Condenamos este acto que es una falta de respeto para la organización y la lucha de los trabajadores. Reclamos de las autoridades brasileñas que cese el ataque al derecho a la huelga y la libre expresión de los trabajadores en defensa de sus derechos. Exigimos la inmediata reincorporación de los trabajadores despedidos por la Cia del Metropolitano de Säo Paulo.
PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class trade union movement of Greece, we express our repudiation of the dismissals of the subway workers of São Paulo, due to the strike held in June 2014.
We are especially outraged because when the Judge Thiago Melosi Soria granted an injunction for the reinstatement that the Cia. do Metropolitano de São Paolo – Metrô failed to provide any hard evidence for their dismissal. Now, based on an arbitrary decision of an appeals judge, without any legal basis and based on a phoney security mandate the workers have been dismissed again. We condemn this act which disrespects the organization and struggle of the workers. We demand that the Brazilian authorities to stop attacking the right to strike and the free expression of workers in defence of their rights as well as the immediate reinstatement of workers dismissed by Cia. do Metropolitano de São Paulo – Metrô.
Το ΠΑΜΕ εκφράζει την καταδίκη του για τις απολύσεις των εργαζομένων στο Μετρό του Σάο Πάολο, λόγω της συμμετοχής του στις απεργίες που έγιναν κατά τη διάρκεια του Μουντιάλ, τον Ιούνιο του 2014.
Εκφράζουμε την αγανάκτηση μας για την επίθεση ενάντια στην οργάνωση και τους αγώνες των εργαζομένων.
Απαιτούμε οι αρχές της Βραζιλίας να σταματήσουν τις επιθέσεις τους στο δικαίωμα στην απεργία και ενάντια στους αγώνες των εργαζομένων για την προστασία των δικαιωμάτων τους.
Απαιτούμε την άμεση επαναπρόσληψη όλων των απολυμένων
Por invitación de la Federación Sindical Mundial sindiclistas de los Estados Unidos visitaron el PAME 27 de enero de 2015. Sindicalistas, de AFSCME de Connecticut fueron informados sobre la situación del movimiento sindical de grecia y de europa como también sobre las evoluciones en grecia.
