The Regional Union of Piraeus and people’s organizations held a militant protest at the Salamina Naval Base demanding:

No involvement of Greece in the plans of the US – EU!

No departure of Greek frigate for the Red Sea!

No military outside the Greek borders

Under the slogan “The soldiers are the people’s children, they have no job outside the borders” and “Neither the frigate nor any other ship, we are not fighting for NATO’s slaughterhouse”, the demonstrators shouted outside the Salamina Naval Station, denouncing the government’s decision to send the frigate Hydra to the Red Sea.

The demonstration expressed the steadfast solidarity of the people and the workers of Greece with the heroic people of Palestine denouncing the Genocide in Gaza
